I read once that “A writer never takes a vacation.  A writer is always either writing or thinking about writing.”   That’s me in a nutshell.  (Some people would say I belong in a nutshell, but we won’t go there…)

Writing is my passion, but I do have other hobbies.  Counted cross stitch is one.  (Amount of stash and number of works in progress are not up for discussion.)

I’m also remodeling a doll house. Slowly. I need to clear more space to work on it. (Difficult for a pack rat.)

Scrapbooking is another hobby, although I’m better at acquiring stuff to scrapbook with than I am at actually making pages.  Another “not enough room” issue.  (I think I need a second house just for hobbies.)

Someday I’ll find the perfect organizational system.  Until then I should be banned from office supply stores and any place that sells tote bags or other “things to put things in.”

I’m also Pagan. I debated whether or not I should put that in here, but it is a major part of who I am  (after roughly a quarter of a century on this path I should certainly hope that it would be!) so here it is.  It really doesn’t influence my writing much.   It does in The Other Mages trilogy, but that's that's the exception rather than the rule. 

And that is pretty much me in a bigger nutshell.  I like the bigger nutshell — there’s room to decorate.
