I'm Deirdre. I'm 18. I live in New Jersey, but I'll be going to college in Ohio.

I'm quite fond of cats, Mexican food, crewneck sweatshirts, cable TV dramas, ukuleles, sassiness, marble composition books, Irish Breakfast tea, bandana headbands, boys with tattoos, Vans, and pop-punk music. 

My novel "Islands" won a National Silver Medal in the 2012 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. I've been querying the story, so that's why it's only a teaser on here, but I might post the full story again for a little while. I won another silver medal in the 2013 awards for "Pinky Swears," which you can read in its entirety here on Wattpad. Y'know, if you want to.

I was on Inkpop. Remember that, guys? You might remember my novel "The Roses of Cooraclare." Not that I really want you to.
