I like to write because I lose myself in my own head. Reading is always amazing, but writing has it's own kind of magic. To be able to project a thought, a scene or a feeling into words is the greatest gift I can imagine. I am not the best at what I do. And even the so-called best aren't perfect. What I hope anyone gets from my stories is that moment when you forget where you are, when you lose the feeling of being just you and start to become entwined in a story. When you're so invested that the scenes play out crystal clear like a movie in your head. My style borders on unconventional sometimes-- I've never actually taken classes or anything and learned most of my style from reading. I try to add something meaningful in my work. A piece of my life, what I've learned, symbols-- I try to leave the reader with something. Even with my worst writing, when I focus less on literary elements and more on plot, I try to make it worthwhile. I'll tell you right now sarcasm and dark humor are two very prominent things in my stories. I am not afraid of violence and exploring human nature is something I truly enjoy working with. If I offend you with the words I use or the way in which I use them, please remember most of the time it's just to create a mood or tone for the story, not my own personal feelings. That's a bit about me. If you enjoy my stories, I thank you and would love to hear feedback. If not, I want to hear from you too-- even more so than those who enjoy them.

@malnormalish I don't see how people wouldn't like it in the first place. Usually in other zombie apocalypse stories it's always boring and there would be very little details, which obviously doesn't help anyone imagine the story but OWGB has tons of details. Anyway, you're welcome (:
