From raven with love

Thick thigh and  black eyes containing  galaxies within

Big lips and strong hips 

 To hold and cherish

Black hair that can't and won't care 

Skin brown like caramel and soft like silk 

I refuse to let my color and my genitals define what I can do in this life and What others can do to me 

I am strong because  I can be weak 

I am powerful because I have been powerless 

I will not be refused and I can not be replaced 

I will rise higher that any bird and soar through the uncharted skies and bring back it's knowledge
