Hi all I'm Kate and I'm a 47 year old nurse who aspires to be a writer. I have been on a wattpad for sometime now and I have found it a really supportive place for a would be scribe. Oh my god! I just finished reading 'in the bleak midwinter' i was a little bit hesitant in the beginning since i dont really know the show it was based on, but god it turned out amazing. i can't seem to describe how much ur stories affect me. I mean ' degrees of silence' was just so amazingly written, its like u knit ur words so brilliantly, it hurts. and now theres ' in the bleak of midwinter'. U are such a brilliant writer ma'am.

Hey, this is me again telling you how beautiful 'degrees of silence' is. Being a speech therapist myself, i happen to work with individuals with hearing difficulties, i find it amazing how you described the silent world of sabrina with all its details. And i was deeply touched (and yes i cried a little) by the way you talked abt lottie's struggles and how Tom took the abuse without telling anyone abt it so he could protect lottie. Very emotional and heartbreaking.

Hi. I was trying to vote after reading the first chapter of 'degrees of silence' which i had had in my library for some time and i got a message saying that the vote could not be taken. So i went to ur profile page and i saw that u took it down from wattpad. First, i wanted to tell you that im deeply touched by the story and im still at chapter 1. And second, congrats on publishing it and good luck.
