Jacqueline Valencia is a poet, writer, and illustrator based in Toronto. Her two chapbooks are "Tristise" and “Maybe.” "Maybe" was selected for the Arte Factum exhibit by Poetry is Dead Magazine in Vancouver in April 2012. She has contributed writings to Little Fiction, Lit Pub Blog, and Dead Gender Magazine. Her story “Picky” was selected for CBC’s Canada Writes Pick of the Day in 2012. She writes and illustrates a webcomic at http://runcomics.wordpress.com and her forthcoming chapbook will be published March 2013 through Lyrical Myrical Press. Her first graphic novel "Charlie and Crush" is due out Winter/Spring 2013. Jacqueline earned Hons. Bachelor of Art in English from the University of Toronto, and continues to study there while pursuing a Masters in Creative Writing.
