David R. Hariman

A former journalist who worked for newspapers, new wire services in the United States and southern Africa, I am now a novelist and photographer living in Thailand.  Much of my writing is based on my time as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam from 1967-1968 and on observations while covering the war of liberation of Zimbabwe in the late 1970s and early 1980s and the "political wars" in the United States in the 1980s through the late 1990s.
