Hello! Or hello to anyone who's still listening. I am well aware that I haven't updated any of my stories for months. I've had truckloads of college work and I'm trying to focus on not failing my exam. I want to thank anyone who's followed (or 'fanned') me recently. I finally have more followers than people I am following which is a huge milestone I never thought I'd reach. However, dun dun duuun! If you have fanned me because you thought I'd fan back, I'm afraid I don't do that anymore and this is just a message to publicly say so. If you followed me because you liked my work, then have a cookie, I love you. Anyway, back to the reason for this update: I went through a period of a couple of months around Christmas where I didn't write a single word. I have since got more inspiration and have started writing again. I've written my first novella! (mini novel) It was great to just write about something that I really wanted to write about, free from word counts and any discernible plot. It was just nice to let the characters take control of the story for once. I've also started a more mature re-write of Flyaway Ravens, combining it with the beginnings of a sequel I started to write. This project is really exciting, but is slow going. I'm agonising over every word, but enjoying it all the same! I won't, sadly, be posting anymore on Wattpad. The whole culture of Wattpad is very competitive and not for me. There's too much pressure to keep follower's interest and update every three days or whatever, which I can't do. At the moment, I'm just enjoying writing, writing for myself and who knows where I'll end up? Also do not fear! I will still be active on Wattpad, voting and commenting on the stories/poems that I'm following. I haven't died! I love reading prose, period. So I am still here and I won't delete any of my stories for the time being, I just won't be updating! Much love and cookies to anyone who read to the end! Daisy ^.^

There's called Share Your Story where you can advertise to other members about your work - http://www.wattpad.com/club/38-share-your-story And another called Newcomers, where you can come and introduce yourself and meet other newbies like you - http://www.wattpad.com/club/22-newcomers There are also forums for critiquing and improving your writing, but I'll always have a quick look over something if you want me to. In fact, I'd be happy to leave a little comment on either of your stories...if you have a preference? ;) ^.^
