C.N. Crawford is not one people but two. My husband (Nick) and I have been working on a YA urban fantasy book together, although somehow only I ended up in the photo. He is an evolutionary biologist, and I'm a psychologist with an art background.

Now in our 30s, we have long since stopped caring about pretending to be cool and embraced our inner geeks. Dungeons and Dragons was a gateway drug that led down a slippery slope to fantasy writing. Someone might have been able to stage an intervention after Nick's dwarf died for the 10th time in the Cavern's of Chaos, but after my tank saved him, there was no going back. Before we knew it, we were debating the finer points of magic use and world building, and now we're hopeless fantasy writing addicts.

But I still have a soft spot for mysteries, and the first story up is a crime mystery.

We will be posting chapters from our urban fantasy book as it comes closer to completion.
