- I chose chanson (meaning "a song" in French) as my pen name because music is a big part of my life (including literature). I am constantly singing and playing the guitar and piano.

I'm also learning French which I think is a beautiful language! I can't wait to become fluent in it.

- I love reading fiction novels that are tear jerkers, romantic, and realistic. (Harry Potter is an exception). Wherever I go, I have a book with me (yes, even to the bathroom). I guess you can call it addiction. But it must be a good thing because I am healthy inside and out :)

My other hobby is photography. I love taking pictures and I carry my camera around whenever I go outside. I own a Nikon camera that makes all my photos look professional and even more beautiful.

- On week days you’ll usually find me in a classroom listening to long, sleepy lectures and studying my butt off. On the weekends I like to chill with my friends, read novels, and write stories.

- I have a bucket list mainly consisting of traveling the world and writing novels.

- I am originally from Japan, and now in Canada for university. :)

- I like to go through my fans and check out their works once in a while ;)
