I've always had a love of romantic stories and science fiction. Although active in the writing community during my undergraduate studies, I chose to focus on my love of history and culture. Graduating with an HBA in History and a BA in Cultural Anthropology, I try to put a deep emphasis on creating characters and environments within her writing that are full of both culture and history. The relationship development between characters and the worlds they live in is also an important aspect of my stories. Sarcasm, comedy, hidden "modern" references and subtle hints at underlined universal meanings are common within my light-hearted but romantic writing style, but there is always plenty of action and a darker side lurking just around the corner.

I'm impressed by what you've written so far, and will read the rest over this weekend. I'm writing sci fi, but more 'boys sci fi' in the vein of 'Altered Carbon', but your writing style appeals to me.  I plan to do what you've just done, (sample chapters here free and publish on Amazon) so would be interested in keeping in touch - i,e marketing tips, what works and what doesn't - a good website I found has been the link below, not sci fi, but useful writers stuff for those doing it for themselves!
