So I guess I should tell you all a bit about myself... that is what this box is for after all! I am a 32 yr. old Significant Partner for the last 10 1/2 years and Mom to two beautiful children. My daughter Jennifer is 9 and my son John is 5 years old. They take up alot of my time, but thats what they are supposed to do, and I would never change it, not for one moment! I have enjoyed writing ever since I was in 5th grade when I had a very amazing teacher who helped me first learn to express myself in a very productive manner, through writing. At the end of my 5th grade year she moved with our class to middle school teaching 6th grade English, and continued moving up in grades with our class untill it was time for us to move on from Middle School to High School. I will always hold a very high regard for her talents and dedication. Thank you Mrs. Linda Linscumb! Music is very important to who I am. I pick a theme song every day and play it loud for my children and to dance and sing to! I have a third child and feel he deserves a place in here.... His name is Benny, he is three years old and I adopted him last Mothers Day! I love his furry face and he is always either one step behind me or in my lap all day long! (dont freak he is not some hairy child, he's a Mini Pincher [Min Pin] ) My significant other is a wonderful man who works hard to provide for our family. He has more patience with me than I deserve sometimes! I love you Jack! Ok enough mushy mushy stuff.... Hope you enjoy my story! @butterflymommy31 cancer is such a cruel and cold illness, it's so inhumane and I cannot for the life of me understand why such a cruel thing exist in our world. Bone cancer I must say would have to be one of the ugliest, yet no cancer is pretty I guess. I'm so admirable of how you have such a positive outlook on it all though. Oh my, poor thing! You've had such a horrible past months. I hope she's all well. Bullying is another nasty and just simply cold thing. I can never comprehend how people can think that what they say and do isn't going to cause consequences and it wont impact them? It's so cruel and scarring. I've dealt so much with bullying and my experiences were far from enjoyable or petty. So when I'm teaching and I see it it just breaks my heart as I want to simply shield them all from such cruelty. No one deserves such. The hardest part is that there's only so much teachers can do. I hope you enjoyed Gifts :) Life has been pretty here and there, chaotic. One moment I'm just breezing through and it's calm and the next it's a tornado. I can't seem to find that perfect medium. Next week I start prac so I'll be teaching for five weeks. I'm job hunting. Plus I've had a whole lot of other drama but all is doable and I'm pulling through :)

@JordieXx I've missed you too!! Thank you for your sweet words. He battled bone cancer for 24months before God called him home...cancer is such a cruel illness. It brought my strong cowboy of a daddy to his knees. But his suffering is over and I know he is in heaven building his nest for my mom and our family and will be there waiting at Gods side to greet us all when we are called home. My daughter has felt with some bullying issues this year (being that she has had half of her jaw removed from an aggressive bone tumor and is waiting on surgery at the beginning of 2014 for her next bone graft surgery) I was talking with another wonderful mother about how bad the bullying has gotten for kids today and we decided instead of just talking about how "somebody should do something about it" we would be that "somebody " I am thankful that she goes to such a wonderful school where parents are welcome to do these types of things. :) Thank you for such a great chapter of Gifts! !!! I am about to finish and leave my comment and vote! How has life been for you? What all do you have going on?

@butterflymommy31 Anytime hun, I've missed you so much. So nice hearing from you! Oh no, I'm sorry about your loss. I know they're just words but that's terrible, I wouldn't wish that upon anyone! As for the campaign I'm proud that you're an active mum with the school, bridging that gap. But also because it's for a great cause that really needs to get rid of in schools - bullying is horrific. I hope all else is going well! Ooooo, I hope you love my 'Gifts' upload! Nervous here. I'm right now writing next installment for 'Masks', hope I get into quicker uploads *fingers crossed* Much love! @poison_apple ok what emotion are you trying to convey... is it love, fear, anger, sadness, grief? This is one of my most favorite things to do! Music is woven into the very fiber of my being... maybe you can e-mail me an excerpt of the next chapter so I can pair the two better? Or you can PM me... in the meantime I'm looking for something :)
