I'm a closer-to-30-than-20-something graphic designer and fiber artist.  When I'm not playing around with Creative Suite or banging my head off a desk while coding HTML/CSS, I'm knitting or crocheting accessories for custom orders in my Etsy shop.

I write because being a published author has always been a pipe dream of mine.  When I was younger, I'd disappear for entire weekends at a time to jot down stories on paper.  I had too many ideas and never enough time; not much has changed!

My all-time favorite book is House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski.  I read it in college and haven't been the same since.

I'm a classically trained pianist and soprano, but I haven't sung professionally or played the piano in years.  It's sad!  If I had to choose my favorite music, it would probably be indie rock.  Even though indie technically isn't a genre.  But that doesn't mean I've pigeon-holed myself into one type of music.  I've been listening to a lot of:
