An architect by trade, I felt woefully unfulfilled in that career, so I went in search of an alternative. After working for years trying various types of online marketing. After coming to the realization that it was all about the money, and none of it was in keeping with my passions, I shifted gears. These days I focus on two items. Helping small businesses market themselves both locally and online, and my other passion, writing.

I have found that I love writing. The Average Joe series is so much fun. This concept has been bouncing around in my head for quite a while now, so it is good to finally start getting it down on (virtual) paper. Anyone who knows me will tell you, I'm never without an opinion, regardless of the subject. They would also tell you that I like to use humor a lot, some may even say excessively. So, an opinion based book series, with a heavy dose of sarcasm, was the perfect fit.

My main passion in life is being a father. One day, while on vacation in the country, my daughter was playing, putting her vivid imagination to good use. Before you know it, she had a complete set of characters, based loosely on her family members, and she had a few stories worked out. Not wanting this to go to waste, I have taken that initial concept, and with her help, developed several stories for a children's book series. At this time (mid August 2013) I am working with a couple of illustrators to come up with a final concept. The hope is to have the artwork finalized and start producing these books within the next month or two.
