Hi! I'm Mike!

I'm a problem solver, product manager, software designer, erstwhile teacher, occasional dreamer, full time pragmatist, and stalwart Canadian. I've been reading since I was a wee lad, and used to write some truly awful poetry when I was younger. Never tried my hand at writing stories, but I've always bounced a few ideas around in my head and love thinking about them.

I'm a fan of fiction and non-fiction alike, leaning towards historical fiction, science fiction and sociology / psychology in terms of preferences, but I'll read anything good. I usually have a periodical on my coffee table, a book on my Kindle and a Wattpad story on my iPhone.

I live in Toronto, Canada with my wife, daughter, son and cat.

@john_chan I just caught up, and despite knowing it was coming still found it to be a big surprise. I'm very flattered. 

I'd call my hair brown, though an interesting note: the bottom of my beard comes in rust coloured! Who knows why? My eyes are green, but become more hazel if I'm outside in the sunshine. Apparently this isn't unusual, but take that for what it's worth. 

Looking forward to Remember-ing more :)

Hey, Mike, how's it going? :-) Have you had a little time to read my stuff? I just started a new story, a follow up to Remember called, shockingly enough, Remember More. (Yeah, yeah, I could always change it later...:P) Ha! Anyhoo, I just thought I'd mention it because you might notice in chapter 2...you name comes up. Well, you knew that was coming, didn't you? Hahaha! I hope you don't mind. And by the way, just to make the story complete, i was just wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me your hair colour. Would you call that brown? Or auburn? Anyway, I was hoping you could tell me your eye colour too. Or is that too creepy? Hahaha! All in good fun. Thank you! ^_^
