I have written for as long as I can remember.  Not saying it makes me good at it, it's just something I have always had to do. 

I love animals, especially cats and had my own small cat rescue/homing facility for 10 years before ill health forced me to give it up  Before that I had been a secretary/PA.

I was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer two and a half years ago. It's been a rough ride. Not looking for sympathy, I am a survivor and want others to know there is hope. The more people talk about cancer and surviving it, hopefully the fear of the very word will fade.

I still have eight (yes, 8) cats so not exactly sitting on my laurels. 

I'm a vegetarian.

I am trying to be a Christian.

I am a huge fan of Jonathan Rhys Meyers - see my avatar of him and me (I wish).

Travel was my thing when I was younger.  Toured America on the Greyhound buses for eight wonderful weeks.We skimmed Canada, spent 10 days each in Mexico and Hawaii.  I have also been on safari in Africa; it was incredible to see the animals in their natural surroundings not a zoo or park, but where they were meant to be. Also been to India, Egypt, ROME. Spain among others.  I've never been one to just sit on the beach; I want to see the places featured in the history of each country, meet the locals, understand their beliefs, their culture, what makes us different - and the same.

Complete technophobe; my neighbour even has to re-tune the television for me.

I think that's enough.  I can never seem to do 'brief'. Can't write short stories.  If I ever manage to upload something on here and you are interested enough to take a look, you'll see what I mean!
