I'm an 18 year-old college freshman from the US and am probably the dorkiest person in the world.  My favorite shows are Sherlock, Love/Hate, Misfits, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Criminal Minds, Merlin, Avatar the Last Airbender, and The Office (to name a few).  I'm also a big fan of anime (Death Note and Soul Eater being my favorites).  Harry Potter basically defines my childhood because it has been my all time favorite book series since I was 6 years old and J.K Rowling is literally my hero.  My other heroes include Steven Moffat (for his writing on Doctor Who and his BRILLIANT co-creation of Sherlock), Mark Gatiss (for his acting and writing in Sherlock and Doctor Who as well as his co-creating of Sherlock), and Eric Kripke (for his creation of the AMAZING Supernatural, one of the most under appreciated shows on TV). NOTE all of my heroes are writers of some sort because it is my dream to be a journalist and publish on the side.  Needless to say, books are CRUCIAL to who i am as a person.  Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Infernal Devices/ The Mortal Instruments, Percy Jackson/The Heroes of Olympus, Warm Bodies, Tale of Two Cities, And Then There Were None, The Complete Collection of Sherlock Holmes, and Frankenstein are a few of my top books/series.   

My readers are my motivation and courage to continue putting my stories out there for everyone to read.  For years, I only showed my closest friends what I wrote until they convinced me to upload one.  I do what I do because it is truly something I love and I get nothing out of it but the satisfaction that only writing can give me.
