I've always had a fascination with interstellar travel and other worlds, and love bringing my space pirate Aston West (and other assorted characters from the same universe) to life in short stories and novels. Twice a top ten finisher in the P&E Readers Poll for his stories (2007, 2009), I have two books published by Burst Books, HEROES DIE YOUNG and FRIENDS IN DEED; an 11-story Aston West collection DEAD OR ALIVE by ResAliens Press; and two other non-series books, SEEKER and THE CURE. My latest Aston novel DEATH BRINGS VICTORY is now available as well. And for those who like their reading in small doses, I've started publishing Aston West Triple-Shots, three great space opera stories for under a buck. Outside of writing, I love all sorts of airplanes and spacecraft, computers and music (both listening, and playing -- a bass guitar for many years, and just started teaching myself the electric guitar). So, make sure to stop by often. If you like what you see with the pieces I post, be sure to check out the full versions of my published novels on Amazon, B&N.com and others...e-books and print. I also have plenty of freebies available on my website.

@rlcopple Yup, it's an interesting place...I haven't been as active as I probably should have, but hard to find a lot of time when you're trying to get so many projects done. ;-)
Hey, Aston. Fancy meeting you here. :) Just signed on today. Looks good and looks like you've been busy too.
@sydjk_94 No problem...writers in general can use all of the encouragement they can get.
And if you'd like the novel that started it all for me, five copies of HEROES DIE YOUNG are currently up for grabs over at Goodreads (until Nov 23): http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/show/16175-heroes-die-young
Those interested in winning a signed print copy of my new novel THE CURE, head on over to http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/show/14697-the-cure and get yourself entered before September 23.
