Somebody that you used to know

Hey. I am amethyst04. This "about me" is not going to be about what's wrong with me, but rather what's right with me. Not like I shared those things on my profile before, but you know what I mean. 
As you already know, unless you don't, of course, I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. 
I've had quite the spiritual journey so far. I was born and raised Wiccan and Pagan, later dabbled in Nichiren Buddhism, some Catholisism and now I'm seriously considering making Judaism a permanent part of my life as well. I don't identify as a Buddhist or Catholic personally, I'm letting you know what my family was into growing up. (My growing up that is) Part of my extended family is Mormon. I do have a family history of polygamy, but that happened a hundred years ago, and I know of no polygamy since. 

I play the guitar. I am a songwriter, and at times a decent singer. I think I write songs way better than I write stories, which is probably why poetry is so much easier than writing the novels I hoped to pursue. Oh well. I can't force my creative flow. 
I have dreams and goals. And I will achieve them. I'm working on them now. And now there's no one to stop me or hold me back from them, because now I'm over it. I'm over and done with people who make me feel like I shouldn't do anything. I don't need permission to like the kinds of music I like, or to like the kind of movies I like, or to talk about what makes me happy. If you're in some way annoyed or offended by me sharing my personal self with you, if you claim to care about me yet put me down for sharing what makes me happy, then you can fuck off. Clearly you don't want me to be happy, so why should I care if I want to find happiness elsewhere? It's seriously not worth risking your happiness and health just to stick with people or things because you feel like you "have to". 

I may not be escecially special or talented now, but I will be. And I will be more successful than anyone, including myself thought possible.
