I completed my first novel, Enlightened, a few months ago. It's fiction, but some of the details in the book were inspired by true events. My husband had a face-to-face ghost encounter, and what he saw became the basis for Abbie's materializations. 

And for me, the phenomenon with 11:11 is real. It all started with a horrible dream several years ago ... someone walked into my office and told me about the death of a family member (in my dream). I was crying uncontrollably, and as I folded my head over onto my arms, I saw the clock on my computer out of the corner of my eye ... it was 11:11 a.m. The dream was so real, I felt the pain of losing a loved one. I woke up crying and sat straight up in bed, and my alarm clock showed 11:11 p.m. at that exact moment. Since that night, I've seen 11:11 on my clocks nearly every single day. It was too compelling not to write about it. 

I'd love to have your comments, advice, etc. Please share with your friends ... I'm new at this.
