@Zenon107 Night Gallery - The Cemetery is what it is. It isn't the exact same as what you described, but this man kills his uncle, and then a moving painting begins to haunt him. I'm pretty certain he dies in the end. Anyway, I've no doubt that there's probably multiple variations of the same story, so if this isn't the one you're looking for, google 'movie/book like Night Gallery's The Cemetery' and I'm sure something will come up.

@Clenastia what was the movie? And I remember it might've been pitch black in the cabin--or hut--and that's why he couldn't see the paintings or pictures or snow globes or dolls or whatever they were. And I know he kept coming back to the cabin, night after night until they killed him.
