Dear Diary

When people are closed off to the world, it’s because they have a secret to hold, information that only they know and they’re hurting, but no one can see it. They close themselves because they don’t want to feel emotions, don’t want to feel the pain, the anger, the sadness and they punish themselves so they don’t really live their life anymore, they just walk in it. Happiness isn’t a choice for them because they don’t want it to exist, they want it to disappear. They think the best thing for them is to stay alone, stay hidden from the world and keep their burden on their shoulders so no one else has to endure it. They want to keep their memories to themselves, they don’t want to share the pain. Why, because they want to deal with it on their own because in their broken mind, they find solitude to be the answer in life. Love, happiness and laughter are just poison now, they can’t help you. Friendships are meant to be broken and backs are meant to be stabbed. Hearts can’t stay in one piece for long because no matter how hard you try, Death will take the ones you love. But that’s the thing, life has an expiring date so you better use it to its fullest before you have none left. To throw away life doesn’t help you cope with whatever you are dealing with because no matter what you tell yourself, everyone needs someone they trust, someone they can talk to. Me, I’m a pretty closed off person but if I have something to share, I write it because it’s easier for me to make sense of things. People have their way to fix their problems but closing everything off is not the right way, no matter what you think. God created two humans for a reason. Adam was lonely with only the animals. Mankind was not meant to be alone. There was always meant to be a duo in your life, no matter how hard you try to ignore it. In every dark tunnel, there’s a bright light at the end. You just have to find the path to lead the way
