It’s a battle. One in which you’re fighting, against yourself. And all the battle scars spread faster, become deeper. And you don’t know what to do. You’re scared you won’t make it through another day that you’ll take the blade and go as deep as you can. Take your wrist as your canvas, your razor as a brush and paint a picture, that’s all. Because who would care? Everyone would forget about you. It’s like this every day. You thought you could be happy; that if you were the best you could be they would be proud. But nothing you do can satisfy them, it’s like they don’t care at all. And it hurts, and you want to run, run from everything, and just take the little things that once made you happy, that once made you smile. But everything begins to fall apart; you don’t know who you are. You don’t know what you’re doing. Every time you look in a mirror you wish someone else was there. You’re scared, frightened, terrified, lost, it’s an unexplainable feeling, you don’t want to be here anymore. You feeling everything would be better if you were gone. Because no one would really care. You’d never be good enough for anyone… Why keep on fighting a battle you know you’ll never win.
