Hey!

My name is Karen and I'm from Ireland. I'm 21, and currently trying to figure my life out. I know, good luck to me, right?

As you can probably guess, I love reading, and writing continues to become a more and more important part of my life, though I can't force myself if I'm not in the mood. A reason why I tend to update so sporadically. I'm going to try work on that, though. 
In general, I'm completely creative minded. My least favourite subjects in school were definitely maths and science.

I used to be able to list my favourite authors off the top of my head but the number's grown so much that I'm not even going to attempt it. Lately my reading tastes have broadened to encompass almost all genres. I go through phases of wanting different things; one moment I'll want cheesy romance, the next, horror. The only genre I don't like is Fan Fiction, but that's my personal opinion. I'm also not hugely into short stories, though I've written a few, and will no doubt continue to in the future. For me, longer is better. 

I love listening to music, and will listen to almost everything; from classical to pop, from 
rap to rock. I'm extremely lazy and have made procrastination into an art form. I can be very social when I want to be and love spending time with the people I care about, but I also love spending time alone, either with a good book or my own thoughts. Lastly, I spend far too much time on the internet. The first step is admitting it to yourself, right??
