Imagine if JK Rowling made the Harry potter series just one book that was about 30 pages. it just wouldnt've had the same impact. Character development and building of plots shouldn't be rushed, in fact if this story (pfhm) was made published into a book it would be quite short...
I'm not ranting at you btw. :)

Hey Sgelle59, thanks for reading PFHM. If you read my other books you will notice that they are about the same length & style. I don't prolong my works. My books have a lot of detail and I try to show the emotion that is felt in that part or chapter.
I believe that it is important to show the journey that Sarah is on. It is a complicated and immense one. I can't do it in a condense manner and I don't think anyone would like it if I did. Each chapter that I write reveals a critical development to the story or to the characters and the journey they are on.That road is just as important as the destination.
Also, I have been at number one a couple of times.The ratings change with the day and the new uploads of other writers. I love being at number one. It’s awesome but I don't write for ratings as it would drive any writer crazy.We write to tell a story, a story share by so many readers.I love  the readers and try to show & understand their pain & struggles. For that I have to make the story deeper and fuller. Also, I needed to stop at that point because I need some new inspiration before the biggest confrontation in the whole book, which will be the most intense chapter. Also, the book is almost done. Hence the voting for covers. I promise, the ending will be worth it.
