Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my bio!

So, um, yeah. My name is Violette and I absolutely positively love to write. I have been making plans to become an author since third grade.

My favorite book is The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater, though close second goes to definitely The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, and third goes to Things Not Seen by Andrew Clements. I also am in total love with The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare. I am a big Charles Dickens fan and have had an obsession with the classics for the past couple of months. Hoping to read Dante's Inferno and Paradiso soon.

I am a Christian and, more specifically, Baptist. I would not be where I am today without Him. My favorite book in the Bible is Exodus and my second favorite is Revelation. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 91:11: "For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you will go."

My favorite band of all time, hands down, is The Fray. (Ahhhhhh!!!!!!) I love the rawness of most of their songs and the beautiful tune and beat of it all. But, like, so let's also take a second to applaud all the Christian rappers out there. Lecrae, Andy Mineo, KB, Tedashii, Trip Lee? Highly recommended. My favorite three songs of all time are 1. How He Loves by David Crowded Band, 2. The Saints by Andy Mineo, and 3. Fair Fight by The Fray.

Also, I am a swimmer! I competitively swim, like Michael Phelps I suppose, except no
doubt I am much, much, much slower than he is.

My dream school is Duke University, I want to get a book published soon (working on one right now—not on Wattpad but may be one day), and I would love to drive a green lamborghini. So, if anyone has one, *cough, cough* ... no, just kidding, I promise.
