Hi!  I'm an amateur writer who enjoys reading and writing.  Isn't that funny?  I am looking to improve, so am open to constructive criticism on my work posted here.

What I enjoy reading the most is historical fiction.  I'm a big fan of Bernard Cornwell.  I'm also the world biggest Song of Ice and Fire nerd.  That's why I enjoy reading historical Song of Ice and Fire fiction.

I have a few stories on Wattpad.  

Celtic Storm is a historical fiction story about Celts in Egypt.  It's loosely based on a true event.

Tales of the Great Steamburo is my entry in Nanowrimo 2013.  It's a story about my wife and her cats posing as a Steampunk story.

One Big Problem is a mystery set in 1947 in L.A.  I find it very funny (yes I laugh at my own jokes), and it's been a pleasure to write so far.  It's still a work in progress.

McConnell House is set in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the early 20th century.  It's loosely based on some urban myths as well as true events around town (I'm from Calgary). 

The Hand of God is a short story about an assassin who's taken one job too many.  

He who cannot be named is a novelette about a detective who lives in a fantasy type world who practices the dark arts.  It's my attempt at melding mystery with fantasy.

The Scent of Fear is a short story about a reversal of roles concerning spousal abuse.

There are some great writers here on Wattpad; yes not all stories have One Direction in them.  Of course if they had bothered to add One Direction to their stories they’d probably have a million reads by now.
