I love anything fantasy with dragons, elves, magic, mages ..... you get the picture.  I was pleasantly surprised to read some very good stories here on Wattpad.  Now I've decided to write something of my own for my five year old son to read when He is a little bit older.  Hopefully he will come to enjoy fantasy as much or more than his father.  

I have no experience writing so if you do decide to look at my work, well, God bless you :)
Anyone with time to give constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.


I can say, so far, it has been really exciting when I figure out how to make something fit and its been really frustrating when I've run up against a block wall so to speak.  I guess that's what writing is all about.  For those of you that I have had brief conversations with, thank you for the encouragement.

Thank you for adding my book to your reading list, I also love fantasy, elves, dragons especially but i think everyone always puts them in a bad light. I prefer where books mention dragons like in Eragon. Once again thank you, please leave a comment or a vote if you like my book!

Hey, I really wanted to thank you for all of the amazing votes, the comment and the fanning. Means the world to me. As for the question you raised, Mathis and Samara are quite comfortable, but that does not mean they have the gold necessary to pay for Georgie's operation. Things like that were quite, unfathomably expensive in those days :) Thanks again for reading.

@Vapurr voting affects several things:
-if you have among the most votes and reads for your genre, your story will appear in the "what's hot" list, which then means more publicity, and a greater chance of even more people reading it
-voting I believe is the way the "Watty Awards" are judged, although I haven't really looked into it. You can check out the "Watty Awards" tab at the top of the page if you want to know more about that.
-voting is a way to let the author of a story know that you like it

That's pretty much voting as I understand it. I've heard that scouts from publishing companies check out sites like this for stories that could potentially be published, but I don't know how true it is. Personally, I'm not looking at getting published, I just love to write and wattpad is a great outlet for it!

@MusicalAddict I fan the authors of stories I like.  I don't just fan everybody, like I see happening at times.  How does the "voting" work? I'm new. :)  How does it affect the authors in relation to awards?  Dragon of Legend is a four book set that is complete. If you haven't read it yet, give it a try.  Characters are solid.
