Hey everyone. I actually started writing poetry early to mid March of this year (2011). I personally think I've come a long way since then. As time goes on I hope I continue to keep growing in writing. I write mainly for me. Everything I write comes from thoughts. Whether they be simple ideas, or experiences that I have gone through. I find it brilliant to write them out, turn them into something that means so much. Whatever it is that I went through, or thought about, it makes everything about it seem so much, easier. Writing to me, is self expression, and I absolutely love it. Being the nocturnal creature that I am, writing helps me unwind from everything that has happened that day, or even past days. One of my friends who I trusted enough to read what I wrote suggested this website. Which, I am very grateful for. Since then, I've been posting all of my poetry on here.

Since I've discovered writing it has been one of my most favorite things to do that I hope, and plan, to continue to do in the future, both near and far. I do hope that one day my poetry becomes known around the world. Maybe that's just wishful thinking, but you have to have dreams to soar.

What I want to do with my life: In complete honesty, I have little to no idea. I think I'll figure it out when the time comes though, eventually and whenever that may be.

Just some fun and perhaps random facts about me:

Music: Anything different or unique sounding. I'm honestly not to picky, but I like the music to have a real meaning behind it.

Favorite color(s)-
Anything dark and dull. I'm not a fan of obnoxious colors, unless they're in nature.

I like Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost.
Though, I'm not to picky as long as the poem has some kind of meaning it in,
obvious or not. Which, can correspond with my taste in music.

So first, I just want to personally thank the number of new fans that have popped over the last month or so. It really means a lot to see more people reading what I write. 

Secondly, I've been a bit busy, so I haven't really posted anything the last two months, but I've actually started posting a tid bit more now. I have two new poems up, "Nature's Hymn" and "Ocean Souls". 

Also, I have a new short story/folk tale posted, "The Heart of the Fox and The Lone Wolf". 

I'd appreciate any feedback if possibly.

Hey everyone, new poem posted, "Feather of the Night". I would consider this to be one of my incredibly surreal peices. In fact, to be entirely honest, I have absolutely no idea what it's about. I just sat down and said to myself, "I need to write something", so I used the intro which I've had in my mind for a month now and just sky rocketed off in a direction. Please let me know what you think about it (and what it means). =)

Hello everyone, new poem posted, "Sun Love". I'm kind of on an "odd" track at the moment where I tend to give poems titles that are vastly different than what the actual contents of the poem contains (at least somewhat). Anywho, if you have the time to read it I hope you enjoy it.

And you're pretty much spot on when it comes to why I write. Writing is so much easier than bluntly saying what's on your mind (or not on you mind depending on the circumstances). Anywho, thanks for fanning and thanks for the comment! ^_^

Hey, Your a great writer! I write in much the same way you do. It is a great way to release the feelings you build up that you can't express any other way. Anyways keep up the good work, and I'm sure you can realize your dream! ^^
