Bio for Susan Budig
Susan Budig writes as a music journalist, feature writer, and news journalist for local newspapers. She writes a column for This is Living Naturally magazine. She teaches poetry in various community venues and as a volunteer artist-in-residence at her local junior high school. She engineers the sound board weekly at KFAI radio in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Immersed in poetry for most of her life, she seeks to share her poetic passion in various venues. For over four years, she has hosted a poetry group, Mindful Poetry, at Gather.com where she writes a monthly poetry column. She also hosts public poetry readings at a nearby coffee house.

Susan’s poetry has been recognized within her community of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, at the Loft Literary Center, in Minneapolis, and at St. Catherine University, St. Paul, Minnesota.

Writer’s Digest poetry columnist, Robert Lee Brewer, featured Susan’s winning poetic form, anapeat, in their December, 2011 issue.
