I'm a lover of fantasy and sci-fi, but I'll dabble in other genres if people recommend things. I've got a self-published book out there called Defenders of the Scroll (http://defendersofthescroll.com) that's won fourteen awards and accolades and received a bunch of great reviews.

My new book, Álfar, stars elves from the original Norse mythos, but puts them in high school today along with fairies, nymphs, and other magical beings. I hope you enjoy it.

Poppedmy -- that’s Wattpad’s fault, it’s two words in my document. 
Chelsea was sat -- it’s was sat, I know it’s grammatically incorrect but this is in first person and that’s how Ollie talks. Also with the ‘chucking pencils, was Chelsea’ another dialect/accent thing. A lot of people have commented on that. 

Everything else is changed :D Thankies!

@MollyLouise I just deleted my last comment. Being new to wattpad I didn't realize that the chapters are split across pages. Very annoying. I'll have to reread chapter 2.

Thank you for the helpful comments on Waitress in Love. I might need to tweak the opening, but a big part of Effie's character and the story is that there is nothing really special happening. How there's not really anything to come sweep her off her feet, and how, exactly, does one deal with that? What does a twenty-something who's not sure if she wants to go to grad school actually do? 

I will definitely be looking at it to tweak what you've commented on, and see what I can do to make it more compelling. Again, thank you so much.

How's it feel to be a self-pub author? There are several others on here who have gone that route, as well! i believe if you go back to EDIT yor profile- there spots for you to add other links to websites and blogs where your favorite new fans can follow you!

All other clubs can be located under the Community heading, in the CLub link. We invite you to advertise your wattpad stories in the Share Your Story Club. {advertisements in other clubs get deleted ;) }

i would personally advise you to uplad a chapter every few days. Wattpad advertises each new upload in the What's New selection and under the Newest heading! So you get more chances of quick publicity :)
