@ShadyLady Fair enough- which bits of slang didn't you understand? If unfamiliar slang isn't making sense in its context, it'd be good to know. Also, actually I lived in the States for a while and I was surprised at the differences in our common languages... despite growing up on a diet of Friends etc I still had to ask from time to time what certain phrases meant. Maybe depends on the person. Cheers for reading.

@Lizzythebrit sorry, I haven't checked my page for ages. Thanks for fanning. Yes I do like YA. I had a read of War Bird, but it didn't really "get me" and had a hard time following your brit slang. We don't speak too differently here and it shouldn't have been that hard to get? Let me read some more and I'll get back to you.

@Lace_V Hey, thanks for fanning! I was overseas without email access for a while so I turned off my wattpad email alerts, just catching up on things now. Thanks a lot for the reading suggestions and I will def check them out. My library here is a bit out of date as I mostly use my phone, but the people I fan are all pretty good.
