Wattpad is home to my Quotidian Project. A new poem a day for a year. Poet, educator, writer. Winner of the Dogfish Head Poetry Prize, Delaware Press Association Award for Best Verse, nominated for the Pushcart Prize, National Press Award for Best Verse. Awarded an NEA grant to adapt Romeo & Juliet into a rock musical for teenagers, Whitaker teaches Drama, Psychology, and English at Pocomoke High School. Whitaker is a member of the National Book Critics Circle and the literary review editor for the Broadkill Review. He is the author of two chapbooks of poetry and the YA ebook Seven Days on the Mountain.

@ScottWhitaker first of all let me just tell you this is a much, a VERY much edited version of the message I had written to send you. Any way I'm following you and would like it if you followed back! I write poetry too, so you can check that out if you want. (Ya, this is a much pleasant, and milder, and saner message)
Not a problem. An old friend of mine from Boston married a gal from Namibia. when they go visit they go for a month

I want a book of yours that i can page while i read it. :) I will let u have the address of my friend in Utah to whom u can post it if you'll be so kind...he's coming here in May; he will bring it to me. I'm scared it gets lost if it has to travel to Namibia by itself. Will that be fine with u?
