About

* Mostly harmless, though with a tendency to try and put Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy quotes and references into as many sentences as possible.

* Mad about football (soccer, for all you Americans/associates of America) and cricket.

* The current President of @Author_Games, the not-quite-official writer games account! Accept no imitations.

* English Literature student a.k.a. workshy layabout a.k.a. likely to be unemployed for a while. Unless I conquer my fears of the corporate literature system and actually get around to attempting to get published.

* Feel free to say hi! I don't bite. Unless you're shoving pointless advertising/ read requests/ fan requests in my face, in which case you will a) be reported and b) risk getting an angry tirade full of long and complicated words that I just looked up to try and make myself sound clever. Or I might decide I just don't want to waste my time on you.

@-Raven- I was intending to be cryptic but at the same time I don't like people to be confused, so I'll explain:

I'm attempting to set up Milo and Walt as the pair of vicious arch-enemies after their little fight (I think you read that...). So I'm trying to draw the comparisons between Walt, who is obedient by nature and by choice, and Milo, who is naturally disobedient but was forced into obedience and is then basically being punished for that. So Walt, when given free reign, will automatically ask what he's expected to do. And Milo, when given the same (he was the only one punished for the fight despite being blatantly provoked), uses it to rebel by not 'playing along'. As an Avox he doesn't get much of a chance to rebel without getting into trouble, but now that he's in about as much trouble as he can be then he's free to do whatever. They're totally different in attitude and therefore like sides of a coin; the fight was meant to establish that and this was meant to continue it.

Since the whole purpose of Walt's piece was to demonstrate his incredible commitment to obedience, that was all that needed showing as anything else would have distracted from that point. Ditto Milo :)
