* Mostly harmless, though with a tendency to try and put Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy quotes and references into as many sentences as possible.

* English Literature student a.k.a. workshy layabout a.k.a. likely to be unemployed for a while. Unless I conquer my fears of the corporate literature system and actually get around to attempting to get published.

Unless you're shoving pointless advertising/ read requests/ fan requests in my face, in which case you will a) be reported and b) risk getting an angry tirade full of long and complicated words that I just looked up to try and make myself sound clever. Or I might decide I just don't want to waste my time on you.

@GhostOfTheIceberg Don't. There's so much wrong with it :S

Funny how you always pick out the same specific elements, isn't it? (you know what I mean)
Obviously. The clones are biologically identical, so there's no real way that Holly, having not paid much attention to Satine, would be able to pick out tiny details like Marisa did with Barley that suggest that they're not the actual people. The only way she'd be able to tell is their behaviour; the clones haven't had the time - or the inclination - to develop bonds so the demonstration of that would be the main way she would be able to identify them. It could have been anybody, but Satine is unlikely to help her or to dive into the other fights without assessing the risks...it had to be Link. Of course, if you want to add other layers of interpretation onto that...well, there's been room for that left and that is deliberate :)

@TheDarkHorse Yeah, I realised as soon as I started writing that there were going to be identity issues throughout. I tried to avoid situations where that would be complicated, but the drama of Holly coming face to face with herself and the translation of the telepathy idea hinted at a couple of chapters ago felt as if they were expected, so they had to be put in really xD

Now that you mention the deaths, it feels like I've left a lot of people alive when they don't have to be... >:)
