Hi, I'm Rita. I wrote The Good Kind of Bad hoping for ChickLit with an edge, and hoping one day I wouldn't be the only one to read it. So let me know what you think, good and bad. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be taking my book out of a cellophane magazine cover, or winning the Booker prize; whichever comes first. Books everyone should read: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald 30,000 Mornings by Haig Akmakjian The Dive from Clausen's Pier by Ann Packer Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn The Road by Jack London Cover image for The Good Kind of Bad copyright Brittany DeWester; permission granted by photographer for use of photo on cover. http://www.brittanydewesterphotography.com Trailer for entertainment and illustrative purposes only. Didn't mean to vote for my own book, whoops. Anyway, thanks for making me no.1 in thriller and no.5 in chicklit!
Wow, #3 in mystery/thriller and #7 in chicklit. Thanks to everyone who's read The Good Kind of Bad, followed, voted and commented. Still editing! Don't think I'll ever be done!
@AshleighGardner thanks so much!
Love your Road Trip reading list! I've added a bunch of new books to my library.
@RitaMB I saw it on an advertising thread in Share Your Story :D I think that was late August last year. Well if you've done some changing I better read it now! :) You're very much welcome, I mean them.
@adomania Ah, well depending on when you read it I've done some editing and completely changed the first few chapters; still not totally done with it as still editing, but a lot happier with it anyway! Thanks for the kind words.
@RitaMB If not for the 800K reads, the 1K votes, yes it would be because of your book. I had started reading it before on my last account, but I deactivated it and didn't got around to reading on. You were 12 when it came out? Well that's cool. :) Disney + Pixar movies always seem to have that 'effect'.
@adomania don't be silly! Why do you think I'm an amazing writer? Have you read my book? Was my childhood too seeing as I was 12 when the first one came out!
@RitaMB I agree. They're my childhood :) And wow, you fanned me? You're like this amazing writer and you fanned me. thank you so much (tbh still in shock).
@adomania beyond amazing, love it.
