@AliceNACT lol... I could list several horror stories that start in a cabin :)

@RichardStaschy Haha yeah. My friend actually tried to confiscate my textbooks from me right after every exams just so I won't try to check the answers and get depressed for the rest of the week :)) But I don't think you get exams and blackouts in a cabin in the woods (pun intended) so I believe at least you'll be relatively safe from that :D

@AliceNACT Thanks. I know it seemed like a silly zombie comedy love story but I hate writing the same old zombie crap. The only problem I feel like this isnt that new to the Javanese headhunting background story. (well not new to me)

*** I do like the idea too ***

The blackout and exams back to back... that sucks... yea, I can see you becoming a nervous wreck...

@RichardStaschy That sounds pretty awesome, both the place and the story idea! You got me curious so I searched up Builtmore Estate and that place looks nuts, perfect setting for any sort of story but the Apocalyptic genre is probably one of the most interesting ones. Headhunters in a gothic/Victorian estate... I'm liking it :)

Funny how lately apart from exams, zombies are I can think of. I think the exam week and the power outtakes are taking a toll on me. This afternoon, a crane driver picked up a 10m tree, hit a central power cable and took out half of the country's electricity. My mom and I lit candles and talked about the end of the world, creeping my sister out in the process...

Anyway, you sound like you've got a wicked vacation planned out. Have fun and don't get injured (or haunted, depending on which ever one you think is worse)!

@AliceNACT I think it's back to nature (sort of). My wife picked a nice cabin (it used to be a school and they convert it into a cabin). The location is somewhere in the smokey mountains. It has been 5 or 6 years since we were there and it looks like we are also going to visit the Biltmore Estate. Which is funny because originally I was going to write my zombie epic somewhat based on the Estate.

[that zombie story] Two zombie headhunters and best friends take over the Biltmore Estate. One of the headhunters had girlfriend he's been writing letters to and asked his friend to bring her to his new home. The zombie headhunter finds the girl but she hates the idea and refuses to go. So the friend finds another replacement girl (which he ends up liking)... anyway you can see my twisted idea... [I'm still thinking about writing this strange love story] ~ maybe the Biltmore Estate will refresh my idea.

@PastryPawsFliss Thanks.

I had not published anything yet. I did spend some of my dollars for the copyrights on my larger works. Currently, my wife is going thru Dragon's Nest and I'm hoping to have it posted as an ebook sometime this year.

HIM is a special case, the story is a 450+page epic and I will be looking for an editor in the future. Maybe if my reads zip into a few hundred thousands within a month or so... then I'll be forced to move my ass.

I'm looking at ebook, since it's the future of published materials. Although, I might look into a publisher. A few readers suggested that Dragon's Nest and HIM are good stories to present to a publisher. We will see.

@RichardStaschy Wow. It sounds pretty different. Definitely an unique experience. I am sure, you will be bubbling with 'awesome' new ideas when you get back.

I can already see a new story- with an evil cow with red eyes- a new monster has been created. Road trips have a way to bring the family closer.

Amazing!
