Well, I find it interesting that not only do I like to write stories, but my best friends like to write stories as well. You see, when we decide to write, we share our stories with one another and we critique and help one another. I find it helpful to be around my friends because they can point out things that don't make sense and help me make the sentence flow better with the rest of the sentence. However, I truly detest when someone points out a spelling error, especially if it's something simple that I know I spelled wrong.
As for my stories, I prefer to read and write fantasy. There's something nostalgic about writing about a world where your dreams can come to life, and nothing but the limits of your imagination defines it. With my stories, I try to think outside the box, but so many people have been doing that lately, that I no longer know what's outside the box anymore. I just know that if you're going to do vampires or werewolves, it had better be a bloody good story, or it had better be very original.
Though I love to try and make my stories original, I try to stick to two core themes; try to keep some cards up your sleeves, and don't skimp out on the action. A surprise every now and then seems to be one of the most enjoyable things in a book so I try to bring it into my story. Though surprises are hard because a lot of smarty pants out there read or guess, I find that they can come easy if you think of them on the spot and leave little to no clues in the story. And when it comes to action, I try not to overdo it, but sometimes I get carried away with myself. It's just that when a story is filled with action that I read, I'm captivated by it and want to keep reading. A sense of adventure is something I crave and try to install it in my stories at a perfect balance . . . which is still a work in progress.
All in all, I'm a young writer, and I dream of one day becoming a best selling novelist.

@AlyGurl4ever I've no idea when the next one will come out. I generally try not to write something unless it's burning to get out of me. So I need to refine Finally Free a bit before I start posting...
