BIOGRAPHY

Rachel Roebuck (Howard) – Made her debut acting while studying theatre at the University of Pittsburgh in the well received production of “Mahalia Jackson: Singing on Holy Ground.” To date she has appeared in the productions, “Sherlock Holmes and the Hands of Othello,” “Conjure Man,” “Seven Strangers in a Circle,” and a community outreach project for inner-city youth, in the storytelling of “Brer Rabbit.”

Although Ms. Roebuck has enjoyed traveling across the country as a young adult, five years as a vocalist with the defunct recording group “Dayton” on Capital Records, and also modeled professionally for the “Glamour Modeling Agency,” as well as “LaShay Productions out of Dayton, Ohio; she also worked in the Department of Public Affairs and The Office of Student Life at the University of Pittsburgh where she honed her writing and jounalistic skills. Her earlier formative years were spent developing various artistic endeavors such as acting, dancing, writing, art, and music.

Ms. Roebuck has earned respectively, her B.A. from Point Park University where she graduated with honors, her M.A. from Point Park University and her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
