Let me tell you a story
Five, maybe six years ago I created a Wattpad account. Never before did I have any form of social media and I had a great fear of the internet. I begged my parents to allow me to create an account so I could share my passion for writing with others and I was overjoyed when I was finally allowed. While I never developed a massive "following" I found myself in a great community with a solid amount of interaction. As time progressed, while my interest in writing continued my enthusiasm for the website faded.
Now, years later, I had a sudden urge to log on once again and have found myself feeling nostalgic. I'm sad to see many of the people I was once friends with have also neglected their accounts for years. Within my years spent off the website I have found some form of success in writing and have had opportunities to share them with my actual community. Now, I want to once again have an outlet to share my work and support others doing the same.
