Other than writing - which is an obsession - I love to run, whether that is in the local fields and forests here in the North Downs, or a short drive to the coast where I run barefoot, even in the depths of winter.

I love to cook and have the opportunity to travel with work to places as diverse as Mexico and Malawi, Chile and China, Israel and Iran.
