Yes, I am.
Hi! I’m Nora Gold, a writer, and also the creator and editor of an online literary journal called Jewish Fiction .net. I’ve done several different things besides writing so far (activism, teaching, research, and was even a therapist), but most importantly at present, I am a writer. My first novel, Fields of Exile, was recently published! http://www.noragold.com/portfolio/fields-of-exile/ Check it out and happy reading! My previous book, Marrow and Other Stories - http://www.noragold.com/portfolio/marrow-and-other-stories/ -won one of the Canadian Jewish Book Awards, and also was shortlisted for the Danuta Gleed Award, a prize for the best first short story collection in Canada. To find out more about me or my writing, please visit my website at http://www.noragold.com or follow me on twitter (@NoraGold), facebook, or LinkedIn. You can also read (for free) the online journal I edit, at http://www.jewishfiction.net/index.php/current-issue/. So far we’ve published over 200 first-rate Jewish-themed stories from all around the world that were originally written in English or eleven other languages, but have never before been published in English. I am delighted you’ve come to visit my Profile page on Wattpad. I think Wattpad is a wonderful initiative, and I am honoured to be one of its Featured authors. I hope you enjoy my novella, Flesh, and I appreciate your taking the time to read and comment on it. Thanks in advance, and Enjoy! Nora

Description: Pearl’s a recluse - she hasn’t left the house in twenty years (no one knows why), and her cousin Eve has avoided her for years. But now Pearl’s mother dies, Eve makes a condolence visit, and Pearl spills out her secret: A wildly passionate rel...
It's called "The Kiss" and it's by Gustav Klimt. I'm not sure exactly why I chose it, other than that I've always liked Klimt's work, including this picture.
i saw that picture somewhere, but its not only one and i keep looking at that,i just wondering where did you get that picture
Dear ghostgem, I am touched by your words, and thank you sincerely for your appreciation of my novella. How wonderful of you to say that your mind has been broadened by reading it! What a compliment. Thanks a lot!
Bosipopona, I like the writing of Vincent Lam and know that some of his writing is here on Wattpad. Enjoy!
Dear bosipopona, thanks for your comments. I understand your reactions to Pearl and I think you're right about the many benefits of the "mundane and busy life." I guess as the writer of this novella, though, I myself don't feel judgmental towards Pearl. I can see, of course, all the aspects of her that you are criticizing, and that there is some truth in what you say, but I just take her as she is and have tried to see (and show) the world through her eyes. Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Flesh."
Dear freakybookworm, wow - what higher compliment could there be than the one you just paid me? Thank you so so much.
Dear xoxhexgurl, thank you so much for your thoughtful and genuine response to "Flesh." And it's so true what you write about being broken and mending, and afterwards never being quite the same. So true. Wishing you all the very best...
Dear Randomology, thanks for your thoughtful comments. I'm delighted that you liked "Flesh" as much as you did, and also that you understand Eve as being very much her own person - being "someone" in her own right. Thanks a lot and all the best to you.
Dear NoraWright (we have the same first name!), thank you for your comment! I too love word games, and only wish it were as easy to turn love into hate as it was in that word game! Wishing you all the best...
