Hi :) I'm Misha. I'm a 21-year-old girl who could probably read before she could walk. Here is some arbitrary and completely useless information about me:

I get emotionally attached to random inanimate objects, like coffee mugs.

I love gutsy funny people like Tom Lehrer, George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Eddie Izzard, and Lenny Bruce.

I suffer from Katsaridaphobia, which is just a fancy way of saying that I have a complete meltdown whenever a cockroach is near. What’s that you’re saying? “They’re harmless”? Pfft. That’s what they WANT you to think.

I'm a lifelong bibliophile, cinephile, and shameless geek.

I don't believe in censorship.

I'm currently studying for a Bachelors in Creative Writing, even though my true dream is to be obscenely rich and famous. I think I'm getting there.

Don't take me too seriously. I don't.

( this is a reply to 'keep writing' which if you'll read on, I literally did!)

So I'm sitting with my Statistic paper infront of me, yea? We're all waiting for the clock to strike 9 meanwhile I'm writing a poem on the front page of the exam - on my failings as a Math student ( in which, getting even an ' e' would be an achievement!)  

*Sniff* My emotion layed open on that 1 sheet of paper...!

Now this exam's gona go to England for getting checked by the CIE - I just hope they get impressed by my poetry and give me passing marks for the cheek of it!

A general notice in which I explain the state of things and try to pacify the masses:

-My last exam will be on the 6th of June. Until then I will definitely not be working on any wattpad updates. Sorry guys. You know I love y'all, but I've been slacking this semester.

-The good news is that I'm doing a portfolio for one of my subjects, and maybe I'll be able to post some of the things I wrote for that after it's handed in.

-I also might, in the next few days, be posting one or two things from the aforementioned portfolio on here for a limited time, so I can get feedback from you guys before I hand it in. So if you get that "MishaHicks has posted a story" email, don't get excited and think it's an update!

-I will start blogging again in a few weeks, here:  http://mismatchedmisha.blogspot.com/

I think that's pretty much it. If you're looking for something to flip through until I update again and do a proper 'recommended reading' section, might I suggest reading The Great Gatsby *before* watching the film?

@MishaHicks, do you know what the most scary thing is about Faking It? I actually did the same thing with my gay friend, but my motive was more because I had a crush on him... We had been best friends for years and my crushing had grown into almost love, when he told me he was gay... No Jonathan involved in my "romance" though! I'm not THAT messed up! x)

Just realised part of the reason i love lightening girl so much is because it reminds me of an anna akhmatova poem i adore! It has a few lines that would fit amazing!
