Hey there! I'm a 26-year-old reading enthusiast (which sounds nicer than "junkie"). I taught abroad in Korea for two years and spent that time alternatively saving money and spending it on travel. I've been to many different countries, but I still haven't seen a fraction of the world.
I like urban fantasy (but I'm not crazy about vampires) and anything with a strong female lead, especially when the story is not a romance, and anything that shows diversity (LGBT characters, PoC characters, disabled characters, etc.). I also enjoy stories about the end of the world, stories that take place after the end of the world, detective fiction, noir fiction, and time travel.
I'm not generally crazy about romance (especially when the male character is a jerk -- I don't care if he has a Heart of Gold) as I find a looooot of tropes in that genre to be... problematic, at best (kidnapping as the "meet cute"?!??!?).
