@mahinawolfgramm Gawd, I'd go nuts if I didn't read heaps. Yeah, it's kinda part of my job description (gotta know what's being published and all that) but it's my escape. I love books and I couldn't imagine not being able to read up a storm. As for characters? I kinda get little snippets of scenes running round in my head and the characters sort of form from there. Sometimes I dream about them -- sounds weird, I know! And when it gets to that stage I *have* to write their story or I get like no sleep!

@MareeAnderson 0.o **GAWKING** and ur still able to READ after all the writing and readin and editin?... **i am bowing down to you** much respect for u dearie!!! THIS is what u call multi tasking!!! much props and cheers for u!!! but how do u start on formin characters?

@mahinawolfgramm Don't worry 'bout it being slow-going. Just so long as you're writing regularly. You can't edit a blank page! I've just published a trilogy so my brain is a bit fried right now and I'm taking it a bit easy. I'm re-visiting another Young Adult story with a view to self-publishing it like I did with the Freaks books. And in between I'm outlining a 4th Crystal Warriors book. No rest for the wicked *g*
