Hello, hello, hello! Welcome! I'm Madeline Waters! (not really, but that's besides the point.) I guess it's customary for Wattpadders to proclaim their love of reading in their profile, so rest assured- I love to read. I'll read pretty much anything I can get my hands on, provided that it sits still and has a plot, but my favorite genre is fantasy. 

My favorite medium is the short story, because I have no commitment whatsoever. Also, I think of them as little experiments- I like to try something new with each one. Best of all, they're really fun when made really dramatic. I think of it this way- when writing a full novel, the author has lots of space to spread out the emotions of the characters. However, with short stories, the author needs to make all the emotions really concentrated to pack a punch. 

I'm a perfectionist and a Grammar Nazi (and, of course, I spelled grammar wrong on the first try. The world hates me.) So if you find an error of any kind in my work, please point it out... I'll love you forever (which means I may read your work). 

Currently, I'm open to reading requests (don't kill me) as long as romance is not the primary genre. I like historical fiction as well as fantasy but only if the romance (there's always a romance) is secondary to the plot.
