I am an eternal optimist, always looking to the bright side of every dark moment.

I have lived in many places but found my way back to Minnesota (USA) where I feel I truly belong.  There really are not many places quite like Minnesota.  It's beautiful, peaceful, friendly and makes you a stronger person.  I may have at one time physically moved away but I feel my heart always remained here and knew I would find my way back.

I am married to a Veteran who just so happens to be my biggest fan and supporter.  He brings out the best in me.

Two things I cannot live without (besides the obvious) are music and books.

I have been through too many things in my life not to be happy, and much of that gives me ideas and inspiration for writing.  Creating stories permits me to live another life and see things from another perspective.

Just for fun...
-Favorite movie: The Princess Bride
-Favorite book: Divergent
-Favorite color: Purple
-Favorite food: Cheesecake (though I never get to enjoy it!)
-Favorite season: It's a toss up between spring and fall.  Spring is warm and smells amazing.  Fall is cool with a crisp breeze, leaves falling and changing.
-Favorite song/band/music: I honestly have too many to name just one.  Currently I am listening to Rise Against, Stone Sour, Volbeat and Lifehouse.

Because you still care to read further:
-I LOVE LOVE LOVE socks with patterns and crazy designs.  Stripes and polka dots are very popular in my drawer.
-I was a storm chaser at one time.  Why?  Because I am obsessed (seriously) with thunderstorms and especially tornadoes.
-Peach is my favorite scent.
