Hello everyone and welcome to my profile! My name is Morelle Cummins and I am so excited about having the opportunity to share my writings with you!

I have been writing since I learned how to form letters into words. My mother receives a lot of the credit for my writing, as she homeschooled me all the way through high school! I am so blessed to have her influence in my life! Throughout the years that I have been writing, I have experimented with different writing styles. However, I have discovered that I prefer writing fiction the most! So far, I have only posted one novel on Wattpad - The Cry of Her Heart. I have worked on this novel for a very long time and am pleased at how well it is coming so far! I am so excited to write and post the rest of the chapters! Having a readership online has been such an encouragement to me!

I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thus, my faith heavily impacts my writing; not only does it shape what content I include in my writings, but also what I content I exclude. My writing does not contain inappropriate language or sexual content and is appropriate for most anyone to read! Should there be content that might be questionable (a chapter contains an intense scene, for example), I will be sure to warn the reader ahead of time!

Thank you for bearing with me during my long hiatus! School obligations and the Christmas holidays have kept me very busy unfortunately...  However, I am excited to announce that chapter 10 of my novel, The Cry of Her Heart, has been posted! It isn't as long as I had hoped, but I hope to post chapter 11 soon... Reading through the dialogue of chapter eight of The Cry of Her Heart, I'm reminded quite pleasantly of Ford Madox Ford's Parade's End, his characters too, have a profound theme of morals, or the lack of them. I suggest it to you if you haven't already read it.

@MCummins, whilst I agree that a different world would set your story adrift in a fantastic fantasy, I think that using a fictitious reality would subtract from the overall clarity and credibility of your novel. I feel that your characters are a world unto themselves, and it's not necessary to leave this planet in order for them to tell their story.

Hello fans! As I have been diligently working on chapter 9 for my novel, The Cry of Her Heart, I also have been struggling with another issue with which I would love your help! 

So far I have remained very vague when discussing time period and location in my novel. This is partly due to the fact that I have been vacillating on whether or not to place my novel in a historical context or in a totally fiction world. What is your advice? Should I place my characters in our world or allow them to exist in a world of their own making? Please consider giving me your feedback... It would be such a help to me and it would help provide me with clarity as I write, ultimately helping my novel to become better! Thank you so much!! :D ~MCummins

@SuitAndTiedUp I must admit that your message practically rendered me speechless! I am so appreciative for all of your kind words and I am very humbled that my novel has been such a blessing to you! God has blessed me with the ability to write and I am so grateful that Wattpad has provided me the opportunity to share my novel with others! It has been such an encouragement!
