I read stuff. I see stuff. I eat stuff. I hear stuff. I learn stuff. I wear stuff. I know stuff. I make stuff. I think stuff. I do stuff. Stuff is my thing.
Oh, very very good predictions. As for the Noci/offerings, the Whipping Tree is in direct communication with one of the Wardens and knows what they need, which is what it relays to Tomas' uncle, so a suitable offering may be chosen. The "most miserable" criteria stands for all human offerings, though. The reason why, however, will be revealed later :P Thank you for all the questions! it shows that you're being a very observant reader haha. And I love hearing people's predictions :D I'm sorry to say that Boone's long dead. More on his story later heehee.
I guess so :P I updated today!
Wow. No, you mean MY inept memory, my GOSH this is really embarrassing for me lol. Thank you for pointing that out xD
Haha, thank you for replying! I seem to have somehow lost the list of actual seasons and their erm...corresponding season titles LOL. And thank you for your comment on the newest chapter :P
Nah, I'm learning to take constructive criticism better (: I'm glad readers can help me out a bit with the process of writing. I really want TWT to turn out well!
Wait, maybe this will explain my use of "they" better. In that sentence ("But no matter who the Nocen was, they always visited the tree when they passed Brevinham") "they" was used like you'd say...No matter how busy a person is, they'll find time for you if they really care. I used "they" to refer to Nocen instead of "he" or "she" because (I don't think this really counts as a spoiler? If you don't want a maybe-spoiler stop reading right here LOL) at the time of the legend-telling, the term "Noci" included both males and females.
I hope that's a bit clearer!Sorry for the confusion in that last TWT chapter! By "they" I meant the Noci themselves. No matter who the Nocen is, he always stops by the tree. I'll go back and correct that. And yes, I meant Astin visiting Byron as in, Nocen-Astin visiting tree-Byron. I didn't explain things very well in the legend, did I? That's why I'm posting it as I write, though :3 to get feedback from you guys!
Thank you!
Thank you so so so much for the feedback! I do agree that a puddle is unrealistic. Good eye :D Nocens...lol I don't think they'll even be explained until the retelling of the attack. Oh gosh. Might need to do some replanning haha.
Aaaah, yay :D I'm still trying to figure out the least confusing way to tell the story though, gah. Okay, yeah, I remember reading that comment. Don't know why it's gone D: I'll think of it as a summer project, or maybe post a short piece about that. I don't think I have it in me to write another full novel about Imaginer. LOL SOMEONE ELSE CAN WRITE IT AS FANFICTION heh heh heh. Haha, you'll have to see in the next few chapters >:D
