Lori Goldstein

As a young girl, I'd make a tent with my bed sheet and clasp a flashlight in one hand and a book in the other. I'd read into the wee hours, way past my bedtime. 

I never imagined that one day I'd write a book that someone else might hold under their own covers. But my sixth-grade teacher did. She foretold the future by writing on my report card "Lori will be an author." 

(Nice. But would it have killed her to add a winning Powerball number or two?)

I live outside of Boston, in a place close enough to the ocean that on the right day, I can smell the sea from my back deck, and yet it still takes an hour to get to the beach. When not writing or reading (preferably from a sandy locale), I'm obsessing over The Vampire Diaries. If you know who Damon and Klaus are, you are my people.
