I was an honors English major at The University of New Mexico. Under my writing name of Kane S. Latranz, I contributed literary reviews to the Albuquerque weekly, The Alibi, for 4 years, and I have had fiction,nonfiction, and poetry in such magazines as Weird Tales, Philosophy Now, Visionary Tongue, Space and Time Magazine, and Gauntlet. I've self published a few books, currently working on a dark fantasy novel about Mother Earth, animals, consumer society, and overpopulation that I expect to finish by the end of summer.
